From October 8 to 10, 2024, Chillventa, the world’s leading exhibition for refrigeration technology, was held at the NurembergMesse in Germany. The three-day exhibition attracted nearly 40,000 professional visitors from all over Europe, and nearly 1,000 exhibitors participated this year. Midea Group, represented by Midea BuildingTech. , RAC and Midea Europe GmbH, jointly participated in the exhibition. The booth built under the theme of Green Vision Blue Future and exhibited green and low-carbon solutions suitable for individuals, rooms, whole houses, light commercials, and commercial buildings, providing users in different spaces with a comfortable and environmentally friendly temperature experience. With as many as 9 various booth tours, press conferences, product interactive activities, etc., Midea HVAC's strong local R&D capabilities, professional brand image, and high sense of social responsibility were once again highlighted. Innovative localization: Designed in Milan and developed in Germany, HVAC innovation solutions are created specifically for European families

Following the hot-selling product PortaSplit, which has become popular in Europe, Midea's RAC continues to work with the Milan Design Center and the German R&D team to launch the award-winning product "CirQHP Indoor Hybrid", which is the first step towards green energy. Its innovative indoor hybrid heat pump solution has attracted the attention of a large number of professionals. With its compact body and easy indoor installation characteristics, it breaks the restrictions on the outdoor installation of heat pump products in the European market. Users no longer need to worry about the outdoor unit noise, insufficient outdoor space and building regulations. The hybrid characteristic also allows users to move towards more environmentally friendly heat pump technology at a lower cost. By linking with the existed wall-mounted boilers in the user's home, it can also achieve the optimal operation of two energy sources, which is more energy-saving and more economical. The CirQHP Multi-Hybrid hybrid solution exhibited at the same time a fusion of the heating and one-to-many cooling systems for the first time, fully reflecting the product concept of the CirQHP family's free combination, and meeting the complex and various needs of the European local market for one. In terms of heating, the ultra-low temperature of -40℃ heating split VETLE was launched for the first time, laying out the mid-to-high-end product line for the Nordic market. It represents a new breakthrough in the ATA heat pump heating category, achieving A+++ high efficiency and energy saving, and ultimate heating.

The brand new green smart air conditioner Solstice on display which is equipped with Midea's latest generation of "ECO Master" technology. It is Midea 's unique precision control and energy-saving master. The frequency conversion control is truly based on big data- an intelligent upgrade and revolution of the frequency conversion control algorithm of air conditioners. It can provide more than 30% additional energy saving without affecting comfort. In addition, the exhibition focuses on the upgrade of Solstice in terms of easy installation and maintenance: the innovative drop-down structure design provides more operating space. The drop-down structure can be removed with just one screw. Pulling out the built-in support frame can expand the working space,thus more convenient for pipe connection and wiring.

At the same time, Midea Air Conditioning also launched the pioneering VED-2510 certified energy storage battery, and highlighted the software upgrades of the MHELIOS energy management system, more comprehensive home appliance and HVAC control, and more intelligent AI algorithms.

In addition to a variety of product launch activities, there was also a disassembly competition in cooperation with the German local installer school IKKE, which attracted nearly a hundred installers to participate in the activity and deeply experience the advantages of the product's easy installation and disassembly.

Brand specialization: iEasyEnergy energy storage open ecosystem embraces latest commercial professional products

As major brands pay more attention in developing interconnected products and energy management solutions continue to emerge, Midea Building Technologies has taken the lead in laying out its core soft power. Midea Building Tech. jointly developed the selection software for Midea's iEasyEnergy energy management system with Trace Software, a French software solution provider for the building, electric and energy, and released the development strategy at the booth. With more than 35 years of experience in photovoltaic design and simulation, Trace Software has created the industry's first selection software combining photovoltaics and heat pumps for Midea iEasyEnergy - Super Advisor. Combined with Midea Building Technologies’ pioneering technology in heat pump research and development and algorithm logic, the selection software Super Advisor has comprehensively improved the accuracy and saving of home energy management solution selection. It can also provide energy assessors with remote house energy efficiency level transformation assessments.

In addition to iEasyEnergy, Midea Building Tech. exhibited and launched the Aqua thermal Max large-capacity scroll heat pump and the Mars Large R290 commercial heat pump, marking that we have moved towards a more professional, commercial HVAC blue ocean market. Unlike traditional scroll systems, Midea Aqua thermal Max has heating, cooling and hot water functions in one. The maximum rated heating capacity of a single unit is up to 450 kw, and it can achieve stable heating at minus 30°C. The conventional outlet water temperature is 60°C, and can be customized to 65°C, which fully expands the applicable scenarios of the product, especially suitable for the various temperature zones of Europe. At the same time, up to 16 units can be connected in parallel, achieving up to 20% floor space savings, making it one of the best solutions for medium and large I&C projects in the European market.

Mars Large is a heat pump product for Europe's high-temperature water outlet demand of above 75°C. It uses the more environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant with a lower GWP, meets the regulatory requirements of F-gas, and provides products for the implementation of the European REPowerEU plan. Under the conditions of space heating reaching 35°C and 55°C water temperature, the energy efficiency is A+++, and it will be testified for third-party certifications such as Eurovent and Keymark for its performance and reliability. Thanks to the support of the EVI technology compressor , Mars Large achieves excellent high-temperature water outlet performance: it can still provide hot water up to 85 °C at an ambient temperature of -5 ° C. Even in an environment of -25 ° C, it can provide hot water up to 70 °C. Easily cope with the heating needs of high floors and large areas. At the same time, Mars Large can also provide industrial low-temperature chilled water, with a minimum water outlet temperature as low as -5°C.
