Forest City is Country Garden’s largest real estate project outside China, which bodes well with the Group’s internationalization strategy to expand business overseas. It is characterized by its environment-friendly concept that will be built on four man-made islands with an area of 14 million square meters, over 9 phases for a period of 20 years, set to be one of the largest real estate development projects in Asia in terms of numbers of property units to be developed. As for the amenities, by the end of 2016, Forest City will be expecting its first duty-free shopping mall at the Fisherman’s Wharf on Island 1, which will carry a wide range of international leading brands and products. Midea supplied numbers of VRF products for offices and hotels in Fisherman’s Wharf and two water-cooled screw chillers for sales office. The total capacity is up to 5,000 kW.
