The 2018 Fortune Global 500 list has been published. Midea ranked 323 on the list, rising up 127 places compared to last year, and it has been on the list of Fortune Global 500 for three years.

In 2016, Midea made it into the Global 500 for the first time, becoming the first Chinese household appliance enterprise on the list. Within three years, the rank of Midea quickly climbed to the top of the 400, which is the 323 on the list, from the 481 in the first year. Meanwhile, Midea has transformed to a technology group with consumer appliances, HVAC systems, robotics and automation systems, and smart supply chain (logistics) from a large-scale comprehensive enterprise focusing on home appliance manufacturing.
