Midea VRF sets sail for The Maritime Silk Road

The G20 Summit is opened in Indonesia on November 15^th. At the summit, Indonesia presented the latest construction results of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway(HSR), the first HSR in Southeast Asia. The 142-kilometer-long railway connects Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, with Bandung, the fourth largest city. The maximum design speed reaches 350 kilometers per hour, marking Indonesia's official launch into the "high-speed railway era". The debut of the Chinese-made high-speed motor chain units on the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail line has caused a sensation among the Internet users across Indonesia.

Jakarta-Bandung HSR is not only the first HSR in Southeast Asia, but also the first HSR project of China to land full system, full elements and full industry chain overseas. This Jakarta-Bandung HSR serves as the starting point of The Maritime Silk Road, which is regarded as a vivid refresh of deep cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win results together with neighboring countries by adhering to the principle of co-business, co-build and share. China Railway Bureau IV is responsible for the construction as a general contractor of the project. The project was officially started in June 2018 and is expected to start transport service in mid-2023.
